Decorus Furniture International
BISHOPS STORTFORD, ESSEX
The Project
Decorus Furniture International offers hand crafted, truly unique furniture, lighting and decorative accessories out of Bishops Stortford. They are currently fitting out a warehouse unit and having already installed insulation the unit now requires a new heating system.
As the business was not connected to the gas mains, it was have decided to install an ‘Air to Water’ heat pump system (combined with a large thermal store), that would feed the substantial surface area radiators throughout the warehouse unit.
The Process
Guided by the LoCASE team the application for funding towards a low carbon footprint factory heating system was straightforward. This was quickly accepted in principle and with the chosen installers on board, the company then proceeded to take advice on the most suitable solution from Camdon Heating of Warrington, Cheshire, who provided a highly professional appraisal of their requirements and a perfect solution both in terms of technology, efficiency and project cost.
The Outcome
After gaining sign-off from LoCASE with a Grant of £8,344, Camdon’s team scheduled the installation and planned works to minimise disruption to the busy factory. Completion was achieved within the original planned timeframe to exacting standards with no compromise on quality of parts, workmanship or customer service throughout.
Testimonial
“Decorus is now ready for the winter, safe in the knowledge that our personnel and stock will be kept at an ambient temperature that is being run in the most efficient way possible…
…Thank you to all concerned!”
